Charania Renewables began as a battery storage specialist — sourcing, testing and supplying LV systems to the residential and small commercial market through our Aokly partnership. That origin gave us product depth that most integrators in Pakistan don’t have: we understand cell chemistry, BMS behaviour, thermal management in Pakistan’s ambient temperatures and what actually fails in the field after two years of cycling.
We built our own label — MountRex — to specifications we control and warranties we stand behind directly. As our commercial and industrial clients scaled up, we brought in Zetara for the high-voltage containerised systems that large sites require. Storage remains the core of every hybrid energy system we design. Generation captures energy. Storage makes it reliable.
Voltage class is the first decision in any storage project. It determines the available products, the inverter architecture, the installation complexity and the total system cost. Get this wrong and the rest of the design is compromised.
48V architecture. Compatible with all major hybrid inverters in the Pakistani market — Growatt, Deye, Solis, SolarEdge and others. Capacity range 5–30 kWh. Simple installation, channel-partner delivered. Right for homes, small offices and light commercial loads.
480V–1500V DC bus architecture. Containerised, EMS-managed, site-specific. 100 kWh to multi-MWh. Engineered for factories, warehouses and large commercial facilities. Peak shaving, demand management and backup. Requires full engineering engagement — not an off-the-shelf configuration.
All Charania Renewables LV systems use LFP chemistry — not as a default, but because it is genuinely the right choice for Pakistan. LFP cells are thermally stable at the ambient temperatures common across Karachi, Lahore and Faisalabad. They do not enter thermal runaway under the heat stress that NMC cells are susceptible to in our climate. LFP delivers 3,000–6,000+ cycles at 80% depth of discharge versus 1,000–2,000 for NMC — a correctly sized LFP system will outlast the solar array it supports. Energy density is lower than NMC but entirely adequate for stationary backup and self-consumption. For a system that charges and discharges daily for 15–20 years in Pakistan, there is no better chemistry available at this price point.
